How to Claim Your Prize

Before visiting any office, verify your ticket carefully. Compare each digit of your ticket number against the official result published on this site and in the Kerala Government Gazette.

All Kerala lottery prizes must be claimed within 30 days from the date of the draw. Tickets presented after 30 days are not eligible for prize payment under any circumstances.

• Draw date is printed on your ticket — count 30 calendar days from that date.
• If the 30th day falls on a government holiday, visit the office on the next working day.
• Keep your ticket safe — damaged or mutilated tickets may be rejected.

Where you claim depends on the prize amount:

• Original winning ticket — no photocopies accepted.
• Photo ID proof — Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving Licence.
• PAN card — mandatory for prizes above ₹10,000 (tax deduction at source applies).
• Bank account details — passbook copy or cancelled cheque for prizes paid via bank transfer.
• Address proof — for large prizes the State Lottery Office may request additional verification.

Lottery winnings are subject to Income Tax deduction at source under Section 194B of the Income Tax Act:

• Prizes up to ₹10,000 — no TDS.
• Prizes above ₹10,000 — 30% TDS is deducted before payment.
• If you do not provide a PAN card, TDS is deducted at 34.608%.
• A TDS certificate (Form 16A) will be issued after deduction.
